The program at a glance

100% outdoor program inspired by Swedish and Danish Kindergarten programs (see video below).

  • A learner led play-based approach with strong emphasis on parent-teacher collaboration to empower children to become autonomous and independent thinkers.
  • Children learn to be stewards to the environment by cleaning and maintaining the land.
  • A teaching philosophy based on respectful-parenting pioneers Dr. Emmi Pickler and RIE's Magda Gerber.
  • Play, discover, and make friendships to last a lifetime.

"The virtues to being a good student are not found in the alphabet or basic math. When a person's attitude is right; the focus is intense, the determination is limitless, and the learning happens organically and spontaneously.

The curiosity about life is the foundation to learning, it is like a searing hot coal. By focusing on the virtues of being a good person FIRST we create a better student later. This approach has been proven in student-led classrooms where students go through 2.5 grade levels in one year of "education". We prepare children to have the basic skills to succeed with this approach in schooling while impacting them with values of environmental stewardship and friendship to last them a lifetime."
